01/14/12 - Christmas Tree taken down!

01/01/12 - recaulking the wall near the kitchen sink

01/02/12 - Jeff & Yuengling taking a nap.

 

01/03/12 - I walk by this every morning on my way to work.

 

01/04/12 - on the bus in the morning - 

01/05/12 - I walked out of work looking for a picture to take and the sun was shining at just the right angle on the building.  I thought it was cool.

01/06/12 - I get an email every morning suggesting pictures to take - today it was of a doorway- I walk by this building at least two times a day  so I thought I would frame the door in my picture.

01/07/12 - you probably can't see in this picture but there was a spider walking on the floor and Seven was watching it very closely.

01/08/12 - we went into TSC and I saw pink coveralls - I thought they were pretty cool.

01/09/12 - I went walking today and I took a bunch of pictures but I thought this one was kind of cool - it's of a bum sleeping right below the step.

01/10/12 - when I was walking to the bus in the afternoon I saw these two guys changing out the sign - not sure I could be that high up in the air.

01/11/12 - the train tracks were full of trains today - this train had 3 engines on it.

01/12/12 - it was 47 degrees on the thermometer on my way to work this day and when I was waiting on the bus in the afternoon it was 25 and you can't tell but it is snowing some in this picture.  It was beautiful.

01/13/12 - when I got home in the evening the bird bath was still frozen - I don't think it got much higher than 30 today.

2 weeks of 365 project

So today completes 14 days of the 365 project.  I have taken a picture everyday - I am not concentrating on how I take the picture but of getting a good picture of something that represents something for me during the day - I also am doing the 12/12/2012 project - not sure what it exactly called but I am taking 12 pictures on the 12th day of the month during 2012.  I had planned on what pictures I was going to take on Jan 12th and then everything changed that day - it turned out being the first snow of the year for us - so it was really cold that day - also Jeff had asked me to go to a grocery store near work to see if they had something he was looking for so I was going to take pictures this month of downtown Nashville but ended up taking pictures of the skyline and snow in the afternoon.  They all came out pretty good.  These both have been fun projects and hope that I end up with a lot of pictures - I'm going to do a layout every week of the 7 pictures from the week and then do one a layout with the 12 pictures for each month.  Off to work on the layouts!  I'm behind already.  I am posting all the pictures that I have taken so far.  Enjoy!

Starting my project

I have seen articles on the internet about the 365 project and thought it would be something fun to try.  I started taking pictures on New Year's Day - January 1 - I plan on posting my pictures every Saturday or Sunday.  It's been pretty easy taking pictures so far - not sure how easy it will be to get 366 different pictures but I'm sure I will be able to do it.  It should be a lot of fun and interesting.  Most of the articles on the internet about doing this project talk about lighting and all the technical information on taking pictures - I'm not worried about all of that - I'm just taking pictures that look interesting to me!
